The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactiveapp, designed to enhance communication between the HCSO andHernando County residents, businesses, and visitors. Information availableincludes: emergency notifications, active calls and traffic crashes, sexoffender information, crime prevention information, job line information andmuch more. Citizens may submit a tip (including an image, video, or audio)directly to Crime Stoppers through the app. The Hernando County Sheriff’sOffice will use the app to alert citizens (in specific geographical areas) ofvital information regarding law enforcement activity and/or to share crimeprevention information. The app will be integrated with all of HCSO’scurrent social media platforms.
